About Duncan

Duncan brings over 30 years of experience in content creation, advertising, media technology, mobile and business development. Working in both start-ups as well as Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies such as Dow Jones/News Corp, Fox, CNN, Warner Bros., Duncan has brought his passion, knowledge and experience to bear on creating value and driving revenue growth.

 

Most recently, at Dow Jones/Investor’s Business Daily, he was a key member of the executive team that took IBD from being a legacy, analog  newspaper publisher to a digital-first innovator, leading to the sale of the company to Dow Jones, creating many multiples of value for the owners in just seven years. He created the company’s first video team, rebuilt the advertising team, and repositioned the business development/partnerships team with new licensing models and strategy. He concurrently ran all three teams. Able to juggle diverse teams and projects with different goals, create synergies across multiple divisions, foster collaboration, drive new strategies, identify when a pivot point has been reached, and develop and nurture team and company culture leading to happy and motivated employees, Duncan brings multiple talents to the company.
